While no one is more happy than me that a Z-burger is now open IMMEDIATELY NEXT TO MY APARTMENT, I do question the wisdom of being open to 10pm near a Metro stop that is a DC government office building and a few apartment buildings. Whatever, when the only other restaurants for a 1/2 mile were Subway and bistro-place that takes 3 hours to get served at, I’ll take it.

Barkey McPoodle: The dog, that, shortly after the Iowa caucus, began barking from some adjecent apartment from 7:30am to 10:00 am and 5:30pm to 7pm. He is uncowed. He will not shut up. His barks end in circular sounding whines. There is a locked wifi network near us named Barkey McPoodle, so either the owner KNOWINGLY leaves their dog to cry during key hours or some other apartment dweller has...

Amy: You should stop being mad at me.
Josh: I'm not.
Amy: You are. You know, I lost my job because of a strategy you organized.
Josh: You lost your job in a fashion that ensured you 93 better offers.
Amy: That's sweet of you to look out for me, but I liked the job I had. And when I lost it, I didn't pitch anything. I didn't stage a nutty. I fought you, I lost, I had a drink, I took a shower. 'Cause that's how it is in the NBA. You know what I do when I win? Two drinks.

First week of 2012
Watched Midnight in Paris Stayed up late for Iowa caucus and help run a pretty awesome live page. Mittens Romney won by eight votes (OR DID HE?) In a series of incredibly tense but exciting moments, booked a great deal (i.e. what I was willing to spend on a contitential US vacation) to Istanbul. My Asia stop of contintents just got more legit. Failed to sell car back to original dealership,...
